There is a storm in Acts 27 and Paul gives an detailed account of the storm
It’s not what you been through but the memory of what you been through
Paul stays calm in a dangerous journey and is calm during a storm. Everyone around him is in panic
The difference is one received a word from God and the others did not
An angel appears to Paul and says do not be scared because you will make it to Rome to testify about the Lord.
Paul says he will believe God- One thing to get a word from God and to BELIEVE the word from God
You will make it because there is SALVATION in the storm
Paul was on a large vessel that carries grain to Rome from Egypt. The water was very rough during that time of year. Paul asks if this is a great idea to take this voyage
They had not seen the sun for 14 days and they had stopped eating. A picture of grief and fear meeting together.
Paul stands up and informs them no one will lose their life and everyone will make it.
Both groups panic and jump into the water as the ships breaks apart
God does not need the whole ship to take you where he is taken you but you can make it on the little you got left
God reserves the right to take you through a STORM. You have to believe you are on your way to destiny
Act 27- the Lord says if a man/woman of faith who does not believe they are going someone then they will fall apart when the ship falls apart.
If you believe there is a purpose assigned to your life and God has something he wants you to do in the world. You will wait to see what the end will be.
